I decided to use up my scraps from my original sampler quilt to do an English paper piecing project. It’s a lot of cutting, pinning, cutting, basting, organizing and sewing. And it’s double the amount of basting for me because-guess what!-I don’t like to read instructions and did them totally wrong.
It’s tiny, that whole thing measures maybe 8″x10″. Pathetic. Well, I have lots of them assembled, I just need to make a million of the inbetweeners, the white with pink and red flowers. It will be finished one day when I am an old (er) lady.
And I was sick all day. Just, you know, for extra sympathy.
I hope, one day, to quilt. It won’t be any day soon.

Sometimes cuddling up on the couch with a good quilt project is the right medicine for feeling poorly.
