Shannon was really hoping it was for him (uh, it’s PINK, and everyone knows pink is for girls!) so I have to go out and get more yarn. Good thing it’s an easy pattern and only took a couple hours to work up, and I always love yarn shopping. I don’t have to work ’til 3pm today, and we are going swimming first, good!
Pure cheese!

only in a Northern clime could you wear a knit hat and a bathing suit :-)
(a friend from Canada gave me a big bunch of hand-me-down baby things recently. In the same size we have snowpants, and bathing trunks. We’ll see which one he can use – maybe neither)
Swimsuits with toques are de regeur in the winter with an outdoor hot tub. My parents had one, it was awesome.
I have to admit, crocheting in summer sure feels wrong.
I like blue and green.
Me too.
And like I told Daniel, the colours are limited in the type of yarn I am using (the alpaca/poly mix) to very earth colours. There are no greens.
However! I could be convinced to go out and find a nice green/blue combo for you, in exchange for accepting mail and shipping it to me. You know. Tradesies.
OMFG done and done! I need a new had to snowboard in.
BTW I will take a hat made with the wool you have. You can pick the colours. Surprise hat!
Great hat, have you joined Ravelry?
No, should I?
yeah it’s quite good, there are groups on there that you can join, but you don’t have to. I have a page there, it’s a good place to show off pics of your woolly creations, great to see what everyone else is making…and links to patterns.
My name on there is BambooFive.

Darcy, I did sign up, but it takes a couple days to actually join. So, I will be there and seek you out first!
