I can’t really get my thoughts together in any appropriate way-and we all know that Shannon will do a better job with pictures than I will-but we had a great time, a seriously wonderful time. Until then, I leave you with this: infant sloth bellybutton. Nothing in the world is cuter than this.

Famous! Finally!
By Caitlin Jane in a good dayRemember this? Google street view has finally gone up in Toronto! Yay, and of course I looked for myself and voila! Cool eh? Does the make me an enormous geek? I am sure the excitement will wear off one day, but for now, it’s great.
Done, haha, DONE!
By Caitlin Jane in crochetI finished my baktus scarf. I think I love it. Or it might just be that Misti Alpaca yarn is the yummiest yarn I’ve ever worked with. It’s wonderful. Jana, the scale made NO difference, haha, as you can see in the picture, I still have a ball of yarn- bigger than a golf ball […]
Making boxes*
By Caitlin Jane in a good day, Art!Nuit Blanche started out as intensely irritating for me. Waiting for people to set up a sound system and then hunt for car keys is not my idea of fun. I had half a box of lemon cake mix that had been sitting around for a while-I don’t even remember what became of the first half-that I decided to make cookies, based on that awesomely easy recipe I made almost a year ago. I used mini chocolate chips and […]
Resist no longer
By Caitlin Jane in crochetThis glow in the dark yarn’s been around for a long time now and up until yesterday, I’d avoided it. Although I’d looked at it many times because I have a deep, abiding love for all things glowy. It’s on sale at Zeller’s (and everywhere, I think) for half the original price so I went […]
Bounty
By Caitlin Jane in foodI hadn’t ordered a good food box from the Anne Johnston Health Centre in months but something in my head tweaked a couple weeks ago and I put my name down. Am I ever glad, look what I got: 1 Romaine Lettuce 2lb carrots 3lb potatoes 3lb pears 3lb apples 2 lb onions 2 red […]
