I have been making quilts since home-ec introduced me to basic sewing in gr 11. But that is as far as my sewing has gone. I keep meaning to branch out and I WILL one day. Things like high school, University, getting married, having babies – it gets in the way of my hobbies! But all past supplies have been procured from yard sales and little old ladies my mom knows :)
Oh, my mom hated heat too!

Do you sew? Where do you get supplies from? Internet high five for summer hibernation!

I hate summer. We have it a bit better living in north western Ontario, but it’s still too much for me. And if I dare complain about the heat, I’m practically crucified as some sort of pervert.
But too hot makes me want to hibernate. I feel depressed and unmotivated and irritable and growchy all the time when it’s hot. You’re not alone…despite the fact that I am 1700 km away from you, there is another heat hater in Ontario :)
