You are quite right, a lot of the new stuff is dated, with few new ideas or fabrics. Because we now have machines, do not need them as blankets any more, and do not have to do all the laborious work, it has become much more of an art form. And I did see 2 or 3 amazing ones, that I would have happily bought. I wish I had your patience. Access to the workroom must be so useful.
