Snort.

By in a good day, caitlin's crap, seriously?

Seems it was pig day at the Village today.

Yes, I still go there. No, the pigs weren’t organized as such, I did that. It was easy though, there were so many. These guys weren’t the only ones either. Or the ugliest.

See what they did there? It says “PIG” just in case you couldn’t tell what the heck it is.

Oh, I liked this part:

Ha ha! Get it? They’re charging $1.99 on an item that sells at Dollarama (the sticker is still on it!) for…a DOLLAR! Amazing, really,  I didn’t realize just how much junk from the dollar store could appreciate over time. I’m going back tomorrow to buy this kitty and it’s orange friend (not pictured) to save for my retirement.

Please, no one explain this small dish to me. I like it’s air of mystery.

Well. I did spend a few bucks. I got a book about card tricks and stunts for Shannon, a couple drinking glasses and a giant bag of spools of thread. And a zipper but the nice check out lady threw it in for free. I’m mostly psyched about the thread, I love the wood spools.

Lots of it is Coats and Clark, some are new. I have a sewing class this weekend, finally learning to put in zippers.

I don’t like that the voyeur piggy has no pants on.

i always looooove the wooden spools. i should start a collection, because they’re too precious to actually use.

I think there is an old law on the books against pigs wearing pants.

I want the pig that says pig. It’d look fantastic on my desk at work…lol

Oh! Jealous for the wooden cotton reels. You could make one up for French Knitting! My grandfather made me two when I was a little girl, they are treasured (and occasionally used).

Does that kitty have no stopper for the bottom?
Ella broke her piggy bank yesterday. I gave her some coins to put in because she loves to put ‘milly’ into her bank. I heard a bang, went to her room and there it was in two big pieces on the floor. She is putting all the coins into the inverted half a pig’s belly and saying “Ella tidy up. Ella fix it” I was shocked that it had broken on her carpeted floor. When I asked her how it happened she told me that she tried to put it up on her dresser (much higher than her head) and it fell ONTO HER HEAD! She quite calmly told me “piggy bank bonk Ella head *points to head* Broken *points to bank*”.

RE: “The oldest Caitlin you’ll ever meet”. I’ll take a lot of the credit (and I hope that’s what it is) for that. xoxo
