The Noro sock yarn’s on sale there, $12 a ball, which is really cheap-not that I am into that yarn, it’s too slubby for me.

If anyone hears of a winder for cheap, lemme know. They’re $70 at Romni-forget about that.

We don’t have a cat, but I have a feeling that Ella would find unwinding yarn whilst I wound it to be loads of fun.

Easy to remember that way. I’m using Noro Aya for that, I love that yarn, it’s the prettiest stuff ever and feels great-and has been discontinued!! You can see the ball in this picture, actually, it’s multicoloured, right above to the left of the biggest light yellow cake, to the right of the orange/blue/white sock yarn.

And remember, this is only one of three bins of yarn I have! SCARY!

I broke down and bought one last year, and haven’t ever looked back. It’s kind of expensive to get both the swift and the winder… Buuuuut, somehow i justified it. I just had to wind 1200 metres of laceweight, and i’m GLAD i had the winder. I dont’ think i could’ve done it by hand. ;)

Amazing stash! What are you knitting/crocheting next???

You should just buy a winder and offer to wind balls for people, like, put up a flier at the local laundromat.

Unless you have a cat. My Rose is about 16 years old, but she was on her haunches ready to attack that ball of yarn flopping around on the floor.

Is it too nerdy to be jealous?
