I dunno, it’s a mysterious garment from the eighties. It’s either “Lady from the future!”, or “In the future, I shall be a lady!”. Given that it’s a glittery bronze polyester number I don’t see how it can be either, but the eighties were an exciting and hopeful time.

Here VV depends on the neighborhood. Which *almost* makes wish I still had my car because the one in the West Island, has such awesome stuff!
Granted the WI is stuck up suburbia in some areas.

Future Lady??? What does that mean?

When I worked at Value Village and had first dibs on everything, it was great, I got some amazing crap. So many hilarious shirts with personalized iron-ons. For some reason I left my sequined clown shirt there, I was missing it the other day.

My friend there bought a Coach bag (a real one!) for $3 I think. I always wondered what it was like in Toronto stores, if there were better donations. It sure doesn’t seem like it, judging on this location!

Oh god, I want to go to a Value Village so very much. This weekend I thrifted two Elvis mugs, some stripper shoes and an old lady’s cardigan branded “FUTURE LADY”, but the sort of tat you run into at a Value Village looks so much more hilarious.

wow. i love that green goo guy. You have a good eye, i probably would have skimmed right over that without a second look!

I have these great memories of my sister and I going to value village to buy old cheesy landscape paintings so then we could paint little badly painted paratrooper dudes parachuting from an army plane to the scene below. .. don’t ask me why, i have no clue. ;)
