You are right about Van being a wierd place, that’s why I love it!!

People seem much more shameless there, it’s a pretty funny city when I think about it. Last night I was telling Shannon about people selling cheese or books or jerky out of gym bags at bars. You never see that here. Ever.

Andrea: for real, the mug selection there is great. I am not a huge fan of their drinks (or treats) but I had a hot apple cider with whipped cream and caramel and that rocked. Plus I like the mesh that their teabags are made of. Random enough? Haha!

Laura: I was just saying to Shannon that we should bring the huge thermos to Starbucks to fill it up!

also, i have become a bit of an etsy fabric junkie since your suggestion that I look there. I now start everyday by perusing etsy fabric deals.

We would get people exchanging filthy, old broken stuff for brand new shiny stuff all the time. Not a big money maker, but it keeps people buying $5 coffees!!

The Starbucks in my ‘hood isn’t exactly next door, so it’s a good reason for a bike ride.

Tim-that’s great! Not that the Bodum I got was expensive, I think it was under $25 (which is a great price) but free? Especially when I bet she thought she’d never hear from them again. Very nice!

I hope they do in Canada, too!

I love that mug.
