Gosia: for real, Cabaret has been in my life, my entire life. Love the movie soundtrack, love the Broadway soundtrack. Shannon took me to see it live a million years ago here, in Toronto and it was SO GOOD.

And I love Liza Minelli. People call her a survivor, and it’s true, she is.

Hi from sunny but cool FL. Love both of the fabrics and I agree with Jenn’s comment that the green doesn’t look like it’s “festive” or anything else to do with Christmas. I adore the other one.
Hills and Hollers looks like it’s applique rather than pieced – am I right? What a pretty quilt your fabrics will make. xoxo to all

Is that the biggest size? I get mine in Kensington, at the bulk health food store, that’s where it’s cheapest (usually) but they sell it at Noah’s and American Apparel (HA! WEIRD!) too, but in limited scents. And I’d have him check first (if he goes to AA, if it’s convientest), like, call, before just to check which ones they have.

Kensington, though. But I would be willing to bet that almost any natural food store that sells soaps and shit has it, even in Mississaugua.

I am sorry to be blocking up your comments box, but I have a query.
My brother is flying over here soon and I want him to bring me some more Dr Bronners. (hard to find here and expensive when you do) He lives in Mississauga. Do you know of stores in the GTA that stock the 32oz bottles for decent prices?

Laura, I’d be happy to mail you the hair I pull out of my brush. I can’t guarantee it’s all mine, but most of it is. I’d also pull it out of the bath drain if I could find rubber gloves and a haz-mat suit.

Oh Caitlin,

We have never met, but I find you so so entertaining. This evening while I pretend not to notice the post-dinner mess in my kitchen, I was reading through old posts on here. Not only have I been laughing to myself, but I practically had to take notes on points of interest to bring up with you. I didn’t, in the end, because I thought that might take my interest almost to a weird, collect-your-hair-to-make-a-doll type creepiness.
