Happy family

By in kitty, love

I love that I got all three of the girls in one picture. They were all chilling out together last night and the camera flash didn’t seem to bother them at all. Unlike the red laser pointer that makes them all go crazy. Sorry about that.

Kelly, Donna and Brenda

I told the women at my (last) quilting class about them. I sound like a proud mother. I just wish there was something I could do for Donna’s lumps. Poor old girl. She’s been doing  a lot of resting lately and I know she’s an old fish…

Great photo. I wonder if Donna was an orange gold fish originally. A couple of my fish, as they got older, lost their beautiful colour.

PS Did A receive her Valentine?

Yes, she did and she did ask me to thank you for it, sorry I forgot.

Yes, Donna had orange fins, orange on her head. The fish store guy said it might be because of different food, but it wasn’t, it’s old age.

But I do wonder if there’s food I could give her that would make it come back? I know there’s special koi food that does.

I don’t know if anything will bring it back or not but I fed my fish something with colour in it that was supposed to help keep the gold colour. Why not try calling a specialty aquarium store. They might be able to give you a clue about Donna’s lumps as well.

We did that a long time ago and I gave her medicine that made no difference. I guess having a specialist come over to have a look would probably be the best idea but it’s not really in my budget. And seeing as it’s not spread to the other fish, I’m not too concerned.
