Tradition!

By in a good day, babies, we have fun

As it goes every year, I made my way back to Windsor on Superbowl weekend. It’s a good way to reconnect with my Windsor girls, I love them all so much and miss them like crazy during the rest of the year. The weekend was spent largely getting to know Ruby who’s 15 months old and smart as a whip.

And she wears a pirate shirt.  I have a healthy respect for that type.

Ruby is a pirate. 003.jpg 006.jpg

We went shopping stateside at my beloved Target. Of course. And we also went to Meijer, where I’d never been before. I love it there too. The fish were friendly.

We also went to a cool Michigan hunting store but I didn’t take pictures there out of fear. But I loved the store and I wish I lived near it.

After shopping we came home and went for a walk. What an adorable family, eh? Ruby wore her new dress that Libs made.

And I went bowling with my girls last night. That’s all, 2 nights really isn’t enough, not to see everyone and not to do everything you want. But it’s a good time to spread love! Right Kum?

I am so bummed out I didn’t get to see you, but I promise we will hang out soon. Our house is great in the summer; you should come see us sometime!

Only if you promise to take me to fun Michigan hunting stores. And Meijer. And Target. Oh, and log jamming, we meant to but didn’t. And bowling.

I live down the road from both Target AND Meijer. And we can go to Cabellas.

Cabella’s looks fun. The store I went to had Sorel’s on sale, 50% off, for $54.99.

    Why didn’t I buy some??!?

  5. Allahkat says:

I got the Cabella’s version of Sorels last year. I love them.

God I loooooove Cabelas. They are crazy. It’s a museum and a store and an aquarium.

AND DID I MENTION HOW JEALOUS I AM OF THE QUILTING CLASS?!

Let me just say again, SO JEALOUS. Please post pictures of everything you do. Just checked out your teachers site, AMAZING, I am dyyyyying in envy and amazement over here.

I’m miles behind on that quilt, and it’s very frustrating. I wound up with a ton of homework and because I went away for the weekend and then had a work meeting tonight, blah blah whining, but I can’t sew after Ari’s in bed because my antique machines are very loud.

    It will never happen.

Oh, but I did get a tour of Bill Baker’s new shop today, it’ll be amazing once it’s done!

Is Cabella’s like Bass Pro Shop? A little?

  8. Allahkat says:

    But eleventeen times more betterer.

  9. Twwly says:

    Totally eleventeen.
