My cache of acorns has grown and shrunk in the last week. I have given 2 away, and have another 3 on reserve. I’d like to move a few more out, but I’d also like to make a few more new ones. I have lots of caps and tons of eye screws, but I need more sock yarn.
So here’s the quest: anyone that has sock yarn ends and wants to do a little swapping, I will trade a complete acorn (haha, I almost typed unicorn!) for enough yarn to make a couple new ones. Or whatever, let’s figure something out.
I love each and every one of them. :)

They would make funky earrings if they’re not too heavy, or some kind of jewelry. They’re so cute!
They aren’t too heavy, I guess, for earrings. But they might look a little…oh, I don’t know, crafty? I love them on a necklace, for me, that’s best. Or perhaps a key ring, but they might not last too long. Maybe as a brooch? Broach? How do I spell that word?
Will have to find you some cute sock yarn as these would be adorable on our Christmas tree!
I have some variegated sock yarns… and one in a really neat rainbow variegated wool. I’d trade you some yarns if you’d make me one or two in the rainbow wool.
Totally, done and done, Treyci. Email me your info, I use gmail, and it’s caitlinjane at that.
Yes, Twwly, can do. Like, a dozen? More? Boy, tied on little bits of ribbon, these really could be crazy cute. Tell me what you want.
What sort of yarn is sock yarn? I have lots of yarn but I dont know fit its sock yarn.
Sock yarn’s fine, like fingering weight maybe? Baby yarn? Or, lace yarn. Uh I have also used embroidery floss to make a couple, but it’s slippy.
