I found the disk with my old pictures on it (from 2002 perhaps?) and wanted to share with you. I’m pretty sure I’ve posted these pictures before, so bear with me, ok?
Mostly for my mom and sister:
I still have one of those kilts. I tried to get Ari to wear it but she said it wasn’t really her ‘style’.
That’s my dad+beard-moustache. And our dog Spike.
Shannon took this in 2000, probably. I love the mountain of garbage behind the couch. And I think I may be wearing white longjohns under a grey cord skirt (made from grey cord pants). This picture reminds me that it’s probably time for a hair cut.
Youch. The scabs, the yellow bruises, holy. Scott McEwan may be heavy handed, but I’ve never needed one speck of touch ups and it’s worth it.
LOVE the plaid dresses.
We are the eager beaver Scottish family every summer (every saturday night there’s a pipe band parade, whole town marches behind, best rural phenom ever) and we all wear our kilts.
Though Scott hardly needs an excuse to wear a kilt, he’ll jump in it in a minute.
…Though that makes no case for them being stylish………

I tried to figure out where we were when the snap of you and Megan was taken – Gubby’s maybe? Pretty sweet little girls. Nanny sent the kilts and sweaters for Christmas in 1973. xo

They’re pleated sides and back, flat in the front. With shoulder straps.
I think the date’s on the back of the photo, so when it resurfaces (after the move) I will have a look.
It’s weird that Megan isn’t wearing glasses in either picture.
I guess I was vain, even back then!
I didn’t start wearing glasses full time untill I was at least 6 or so.
But man! Are we cute or what?

If you ever get a hold of a scanner, I would be overly thrilled if you could scan in the old Sears portraits that you have, there’s one with mum with long hair, and so on.
