I spent Sunday afternoon at my mom’s house. Because we were away for the holidays, January 10th was the agreed upon date. Due to unforeseen illness, I wound up traveling alone on the bus. My mom not only has great friends, she’s a great chef, and it was a fun day.

I got lots of great gifts-I can hardly wait to go to Romni and spend the gift certificate. And the cash? It’s either going to be spent on gym shoes (I don’t have proper indoor runners) or on girl’s night out. Somehow I suspect that my sister would approve more heartily of the latter.
Oh, and the joke. One of the guests is a math professor who told the following joke (that I suspect will only be appreciated by Richard Larratt):
Q-What is purple, commutes and is worshiped by many?
A-A finitely venerated abelian grape!
Ha ha, right?
I really wish I could have been there with you guys. When is someone going to invent teleportation?
As far as the $$ goes, as long as you have fun with it and let me know how it got spent, that is what counts with me!!
