Liza Minelli is going to be doing a concert here in Toronto at Roy Thompson hall and until tonight, I was excited. Then I looked at ticket prices. Yeah, Liza, I am a life long fan, for sure, but you are not worth $600. You aren’t even worth $343. I still love you, and I am sad your ticket prices are not more affordable. One day I would love to hear you sing “Maybe This Time” live.

When I lived in Milton, I had a job (briefly) at a private golf course as a waitress. It was a very stuffy, old-school kind of place with members who were at least 900 years old.
Because of my short hair, and large eyes, all the old people there ALWAYS told me that I look like Liza Minelli. It would make me so angry. It still kind of does.
