Today was girls only day. First, we made a bunch of stickers by cutting out pictures from tabloid magazines and sandwiching them between layers of clear sticky paper. They are now stuck all over the toy trunk. Then we had peanut butter sandwiches for lunch. Then we went to Melonheads and one of us had her hair cut, styled and sprayed with sparkles. Then we went to the park for two and a half hours where we played on the play ground and ate mint chip ice cream. Not a bad day overall.
There was a pigeon party at my feet in the sand box for a while. Have you ever heard a pigeon sneeze? I have. Make a “PSH” noise really fast while shaking your head and you’ve got it. The speckled one at the front had terrible allergies, sneezing over and over.
Well, you know I have a certain fondness for pigeons.
I also like baby seagulls. They look silly and leggy, like chickens kind of.
There were two of them and they came around and just screamed a little, upsetting the pigeons. They didn’t get anything to eat, however, and toodled off to beg somewhere else.

I don’t think it’s fair that you didn’t let Ari get sparkles in her hair too.
I even said to the hair dresser, aww, just like a stripper. But no one laughed. Well, I laughed.
You can tell that the pigeon has allergies…look how red his eyes are
