They have considerable prejudice against Westerns, which shows a dearth of understanding of what Hollywood and John Ford were up to — in mythography, the Turner-Beard Frontier Myth, as it relates to the cavalry and later vietnam westerns. The greatest movie is “Lawrence of Arabia; and apparently you haven’t seen. You’ll love it. I’m sure you’ll love “Shane” as well, It’s different from the Ford westerns…. Call me.
