One day I will publicly post the story of yesterday’s day trip. One day, when I feel like I will not be charged with a federal offense. Or two.
This is a picture of the first toy I ever made. I wish I could remember her name! I designed it, and my mother sewed the seams on the sewing machine. I drew the face and used curling ribbon for hair and a bow. I think I might have been around 5 or 6 when it was made.
It’s somewhat hard to believe that I still have it, considering how many times I have moved in my lifetime (at least 15). I am also glad that I am a bit of a pack rat.
The second toy I didn’t make. My friend Sheri did in grade 6, or maybe earlier, but it’s inscribed to me. I think this is the second funniest toy ever made (first being the one pictured above)
(The back reads “Tootie for Caity from your BFF Sheri”)
I like to think my toy making skillz have improved since then, but not too much!
